IT’s Day TWO…
It’s still VERY early at the Family Reunion, but I hope you’re enjoying the vibes so far.
In case you feel the need to jump back and review yesterday’s experience you can definitely do so.
Stay locked in we are just getting started on this journey together. Make sure to drop a comment at the bottom of the page to let me know you’re tapped in.
“My priorities straight God, Family, then Mula - money tree my family tree, these racks are so deep rooted - operate above confusion bypassing gossip and rumors - still y’all feel entitled like I owe you boomer sooner.”
BEHIND THE BEATS
“This is what you need when you are performing at a show. When that second part comes in it’s going to get the whole spot jumping.”
AT THE VIDEO SHOOT
It took us forever to get this shoot done. We were rained & snowed out multiple times. It was crazy, but we finally made it happen! Got to love it. Here’s a sneak peak at the visuals that are to come for “What It Cost”.
IN THE STUDIO
One of the aspects I love about recording at Music In Focus Studio is the family atmosphere and vibe. To be honest when Chico and I first started working together we were literally in his garage and in between takes he’d have to play daddy daycare. Those days seem like forever ago, but it’s crazy to think how much things have changed but also stayed the same.
Usually I prefer to record solo, but it’s not uncommon for nephews, cousins, family friends or kids to drop in on a studio session. More times than not little man is sleeping or has his eyes glued to his iPad when he is in the studio, but when I saw him react to “What It Cost” like this I knew we had a hit!
